The IBERCup: Cleveland Force USL Pathway
Inaugural Year: Portugal | December 16 – 19, 2026
We are excited to officially announce that Force Soccer Club will be traveling to Portugal to compete in the prestigious IberCup Christmas 2026 (December 16 – 19, 2026). This is more than just an international tournament; this is a USL-level program designed for players committed to a professional-track developmental environment. As we continue to align our standards with the highest levels of American soccer, this trip serves as a centerpiece for our elite player pathway.
For this year's event, we will be forming the following teams:
2010 Boys Team / 2012 Boys Team / 2011 Girls Team
This program represents the highest tier of competitive soccer within Cleveland Force and our affiliate network, designed for players who aspire to professional and collegiate standards.
The USL Training Environment & Expectations
Participation in this program carries a high standard of commitment. Force Soccer Club is dedicated to a
year-round USL training environment. To maintain the technical and physical standards required for international competition:
Year-Round Commitment: Players selected for these squads are expected to train within the Cleveland Force USL environment throughout the entire calendar year.
The U15–U19 Pathway: To ensure our oldest players reach their maximum potential and maintain the fitness levels required for European competition,
participation in this program replaces high school soccer. This allows for a consistent, high-intensity training block during the traditional fall season.

A Unified Force
This project is a collaborative effort between Force Soccer Club and our affiliates. Teams will be led by directors and coaches from across our network to ensure the best possible representation and development for every player "of level."
We look forward to seeing our players compete on the world stage in Portugal.
