Cleveland Force SC U17 Boys ECNL Super Cup Qualification
ECNL BOYS ANNOUNCES QUALIFYING CLUBS, NEW COMPETITION FORMAT AND NEW AGE GROUPS FOR 2026-27 SUPER CUP
RICHMOND, Va. (September 17, 2026) - Following the success of the expanded ECNL Boys Super Cup in the 2025-2026 season, ECNL Boys is excited to expand the competition again for the 2026-27 season, with 48 teams from across the ECNL Boys landscape at both the U17 and U18/19 age groups.
"The ECNL Boys Super Cup has become one of the most exciting competitions we offer, and the new format will certainly add to this very unique experience for player and club development," said ECNL Boys Commissioner Jason Kutney. "This season, we've expanded to add the U17 age group and introduced a new playing format that will bring together more clubs and players, while still maintaining a level of excitement that can only be rivaled by the ECNL Postseason. This best-on-best platform features 48 of the highest performing teams in the country, across the U17 and U19 age groups, competing within existing top tier showcases to maximize college and professional scouting opportunities."
Each qualifying team can build its ECNL Boys Super Cup roster as it sees fit, utilizing any age-eligible player from its club player pool in the age group that represents the club. Consistent with prior years, the first stage of the ECNL Boys Super Cup is separated into three regions (East, Central and West), with competitions to crown regional ECNL Boys Super Cup champions. Following the regional events, the ECNL Boys Super Cup National Finals will be held in Indianapolis in April 2027.

For the first time in the competition's history, the ECNL Boys Super Cup will also feature multiple stages.
The ECNL Boys West Coast Super Cup will begin within the ECNL Boys Phoenix event on November 20-22, 2026, where all eight teams in each age group will be placed in two groups of four, playing three games to determine seeding for the knockout stage, which will take place the following weekend at the Surf College Cup at Surf Sports Park on November 27-29, 2026. The knockout stage will be a three-game, single elimination bracket, with the winner advancing to the ECNL Boys National Super Cup Finals in Indianapolis in April 2027.
The East Coast Super Cup and Central Super Cup will take place on December 11-13, 2026 at the visitRaleigh.com Showcase at WRAL Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. The combined event will feature a mini-game group stage, with each team competing in four 40-minute games, where teams earn points to qualify for the knockout stage. Four teams will qualify for the knockout stage in each age group, where a mini-game semifinal and final will determine the champion. The winners of both the East Coast and Central Super Cups will also advance to the ECNL Boys Super Cup National Finals.
The fourth team advancing to the ECNL Boys Super Cup National Finals will be selected among the three regional runners-up, based on the ECNL Overall Club Rankings for the specific age group.
