USL W League
Quick preparations have begun for our 3rd season in the USL W League this summer. We say quick because getting our players back from their respective colleges and then prepared for league play is no small feat. We began training on 5/7 for a season that kicks off in Pittsburgh against the Pittsburgh Riveters on 5/16. The Riveters are expecting 5,000 plus fans for their inaugural opener at Highmark Stadium against us that night. This should be an unbelievable environment for our players to compete in. We are moving to a new conference this summer and look forward to the competition. We will play 5 home games this summer during the months of May and June at CSU’s Krenzler field. We look forward to seeing many of you at the games!

U20 USL Academy Girls
Our USL Academy Girls training just started the week of 5/5 in preparation for their league season which will begin after our ECNL season wraps up. They have been training indoors on Sunday evenings and the sessions will ramp up once their respective spring seasons begin to slow down. We are excited this year to be competing in a conference where we have competition from PGH to Chicago. The girls are looking forward to the upcoming season and continuing to train with one another. Our player pool consists of players from our 2011 to 2007 teams offering a unique opportunity for some of the best talent in our club to push one another in training and in games. Our USL Academy players will have opportunities to train with our USL W League (senior team) throughout the course of the summer and many of our youth players will most likely get a chance to feature in a game with the W League team.

Boys ECNL U15-U19
Boys ECNL are in the middle of the busiest time in our calendar. We are extremely pleased this year to have so many teams in the running for National playoffs. This is a result many months of hard work on the training field from our players and coaches. The process starts months and months in advance. We are proud of all our teams and they have rebounded from the adversity that they have had to overcome. Whether that’s injuries or playing multiple games in a short period of time our players have always reacted well.
Tryouts are coming up. We are extremely excited by the amount of people showing an interest in our program. We hope to conduct a very smooth and stress free tryout period.
I would like to highlight Coach Chris Green. Chris has worked extremely hard to instill the correct values in our u13/14 players.
He is always process driven and you can always be sure that the players coming out from his program will be prepared for the next level.

Rob Miller
Girls ECNL Director
ECNL 15-19 Girls:
The past few months have been an extremely busy time for our HS aged ECNL girls. Since our last update OVC League play has been a massive focus. At this point in time we have a couple of teams that are close to securing playoff spots for June in San Diego. We also traveled cross country a few weeks ago for the ECNL Phoenix event in early April. The weather and competition were top notch and the girls did extremely well in representing the midwest as one of the few clubs from this side of the country in attendance. We are set to close out the regular season portion of our league schedule over the next few weeks and travel to New Jersey for the PDA Showcase and down to Greensboro, NC for the ECNL North Carolina Showcase in early June.
We are nearing the end of the road as youth players for our members of the class of ‘25 on our U19 ECNL team.
All 17 of our graduating seniors are committed to colleges to begin competition in the fall of ‘25. 14 of our grads will be playing NCAA DI, 2 at the NCAA DII level and 1 playing NCAA DIII. We are extremely proud of the pathway that these young ladies have blazed over the past few years of our existence in the ECNL. They have competed in the ECNL playoffs every year since our start in 2021, participating in the Champions League twice (our first team to have qualified multiple times). Many of these players will move on after their last regular season ECNL game in May to represent the club in the USL Academy and USL W League platforms. We wish all of them the best of luck as they continue their careers at the next level!!
We have had a number of recent college verbal commitments in our class of ‘26 bringing that total up to 9 players. We will have many more over the coming months as our teams continue showcasing and dive deeper into the college recruiting process.

Girls U13-U14
ECNL Director & Girls U11-U12 Pre-ECNL/GLA Director
Girls ECNL U13-U14
It’s crazy to think that we are already in the month of May! What’s also crazy, is how much will be going on throughout this month. For soccer, there is practice, games, rescheduled games, tryouts, and end-of-season tournaments. Outside of soccer, things are also hectic with school wrapping up, graduations, school trips, celebrations, holidays, and other activities.
It’s important to remember that the players do feel stress, pressure, and performance anxiety. They are also being overloaded and stimulated by all the activities we have listed above. If nothing else, it’s a great time for us all to zoom out, take a deep breath, and remember to do what is best for the children at all times. We can all get caught up in the competitive nature of youth soccer, but let’s never lose sight that the most important cog in all of this, is the happiness, love, and enjoyment of the game from the players. Treat all situations this month with commitment, humbleness, integrity, respect, and passion.
Our 2012 and 2011 ECNL teams are wrapping up conference play. Both are in a position to qualify for the ECNL Champions League National Playoffs. Each team has one league game left, and depending how that game goes will impact ECNL National Playoff qualification.
One of the most important benefits of being an ECNL club, is to have strong competition in a league, event, and playoff format. Our players are continuously playing in difficult matches, which prepares them very well for the college game. We are humbled by our current situation, and are looking forward to continuing the growth and opportunities provided to our teams, families, players, club, and coaches.
Our 2014 and 2013 Pre ECNL Blue, White, and Volt teams are also wrapping up their spring seasons. Each team has league games remaining, as well as tournaments in Chicago and locally. We are wishing the teams and players the best of luck!
Please remember to register for tryouts in PlayMetrics. This is a requirement for all current members that wish to return for the [2025-2026] season.
Thanks in advance and we look forward to a great May and beyond!

Girls ECNL-RL Director
Girls ECNL-RL
Our 2011 and 2012 ECNL RL teams recently had the privilege of speaking with Tracey Bates Leone, the assistant women's soccer coach at the University of North Carolina. Coach Leone shared her incredible experiences as a player and coach, including wins at the World Cup, College Cup, Olympic, and World Championship levels. She spoke to our players about the importance of character, integrity, a positive mindset, and fierce competitiveness in all aspects of life. We also enjoyed hearing about UNC's recent journey to the 2024 College Cup championship and the qualities college coaches look for in recruits. We extend our sincere gratitude to Coach Leone for her time and for inspiring our players.

This spring has been significant for our high school players and their college aspirations. We are thrilled to announce that our entire 2025 ECNL RL class has now made their college commitments, with 10 talented players set to play college soccer this fall. In the coming weeks, we look forward to celebrating their leadership, integrity, and commitment to our club. Thank you to each of them for their hard work and dedication. Additionally, our 2026 class recently participated in a valuable Zoom call where they discussed recent NCAA changes, upcoming showcase events, and the resources our club provides to support their college search process.
On the field, our 2009 ECNL RL team has been performing exceptionally well, achieving a record of 5 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw in their last seven matches. Their teamwork, dedication to each other, and fighting spirit are commendable as they approach the end of their season. The 2012 ECNL RL team also had a successful weekend at the Great Lakes Spring Challenge 2025, winning the event with an impressive 4-0-0 record and without conceding a single goal. Both the 2011 and 2012 ECNL RL teams have now concluded their regular season schedule and will be competing in the Chicago Inter Memorial Day Cup, along with our 2009 and 2010 teams.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the families for their continued support, and we recognize the invaluable hard work of each of our team managers.

Spring Season Success
Our girls’ hard work, dedication, and commitment to their development is already paying off with an incredible start to the spring season!
Our
Pre-ECNL Blue team kicked things off at the prestigious
Jefferson Cup in Virginia, going an impressive
3-0 to advance to the championship game. Unfortunately, the final was canceled due to weather, but the team was rightfully
crowned Co-Champions. What a way to represent!

The momentum continued at the 2025 Great Lakes Spring Challenge, where 7 of our teams competed. Out of those, 5 teams went undefeated over the weekend! In the U8-U10 age group, we posted some outstanding stats:
- Overall record: 21 wins and just 4 losses
- Goals scored: 116
- Goals conceded: 33
- Our youngest group, the 2017 girls, scored a remarkable 31 goals in only 4 games!
Congratulations to the following teams on their championships:
- 2017 Girls
- 2016 Pre-ECNL Blue
- 2015 Pre-ECNL White
- 2015 Pre-ECNL Blue
A special shout-out goes to our 2015 Volt team, who went undefeated in group play with three wins but just narrowly missed the final due to a one-goal differential. Amazing effort!
As we head outdoors for training, we're excited to finish the season strong and continue playing our best soccer.

Our boys 7v7 competitive tear has had a great start to the spring season. We started our season by taking 5 teams to the Great Lakes Spring Challenge at the Pro-Football hall of fame. All 5 teams played well in the event with a combined record of 13-2-1. Due to all the hard work and mental toughness to deal with the cold weather three of our Teams won their respective divisions.
Congratulations:

- 2016 Boys White - u9 Premier Division - Champions
- 2017 Boys White - u8 Division - Champions
As we look toward the end of the season the boys will have the opportunity to play in The Ohio State Cup, Summer Kick Off, and the Westlake Invitational. I look forward to seeing them work hard to bring back results.
Development is a long journey that has its challenges. Being a part of the boys journey is the best part of our job as coaches. I want to shout out two (2) of our teams that have made such big strides as teams the past few months.
The boys 15 Volt East has had a great start to CASA spring starting 4-0. The 16b Vole East/South team has come together with a strong finish the winter and started CASA off strong beating a team they lost to in the fall.

Pre-Club Programming
As we start to wind down the 2024-25 season for our Juniors Elite program it is so exciting to see the future of the Cleveland Force take shape. This year the Juniors Elite program had more than 65 players ranging in age from 5-8 participate in the Program.
Both our boys and girls have grown their individual skills and game understanding so much in the past 7-months. It is so special to see this group of talented girls and boys learn to play this game with such
Passion and
Commitment at such a young age. This winter, the 7 Juniors Elite teams played in the TOCA u8 League. The teams combined for a record this winter 82 -28. Well done boys and Girls!
More important than the results are the field is our players and their family' s commitment to continue their development. The Coaching staff, Coach Cami and I are so excited that 47 players in the 2018 and 2017 birth year are already registered to try out and continue their journey here with the Cleveland Force!!!
