Over 90 players, coaches and family members of Cleveland Force SC traveled to England this month through GoPlay Sports Tours on an overseas soccer experience! GoPlay and Cleveland Force share the same passion for traveling, competing, and discovering.

The opportunity to leave home, play the sport we love, and learn about the world first-hand is an incredible experience. The 2023 England trip took us to London and Manchester, and we were able to share our passion with wonderful people. Not only were we able to make lasting relationships, but we also met some fantastic people.

Through travel, young athletes are inspired to better understand the world, different cultures, and themselves. The opportunity as a parent or guardian to witness this was invaluable. The Coaches at Manchester United, West Ham, Stockport, and Wimbledon left a lasting impression on all of us. The food and sightseeing immersed us in the English culture.

Travel changes lives, and the 2023 England trip did not disappoint. Members of the trip got to experience:

• Training sessions with Manchester United, West Ham United FC, AFC Wimbeldon and Stockport County Coaches.
• Watched preseason games of Southhampton vs Bournemouth (Premier League) and Wimbeldon FC vs QPR (EFL League Two).
• Toured Premier League stadiums of Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC. 
• Sightseeing excursions including seeing the London Eye, Tower bridge and Changing of the Guard!
